Last tax season was the best so far for my husband and me.
We have been working as tax preparers for the past 5 years but we received
about 50% more traffic in our office this year than in previous years. The
extra income we earned will go towards a nice vacation In South America for the
summer. We are so excited! However, there is something we are not so excited
about, which is the amount of dirt, stains, and gum which our office carpet has
accumulated these past few months. We’ve tried the cheaper alternative (so we
can go along with our vacation plans), which is to wash it ourselves, and so we
did. But who were we kidding?! Of course it didn’t work; we didn’t have the
right machines, or the right cleaners. Four words were ringing in my head: commercial pressure washing services!
It rained a lot this past winter and I cannot blame our clients
for all the mud their shoes brought it. My
husband and I definitely spread
around some of it too. Luckily the carpet isn’t ruined enough to have to
replace it (you know how expensive that can be!), so we have been experimenting
with certain cleaners to no avail. We wanted to see if we were able to revive
our carpet’s original color, at least to some extent. It only seemed to spread
more of the stains and made the carpet look much older than it really was. Yuk!
This was not good for the presentation of our office.
We decided to try the pressure
washing services nearby our office which our neighbor Jack recommended.
He had a surprise birthday party for this adorable 8 year-old daughter Sally
and he invited all the kids in the neighborhood, plus Sally’s cousins and
schoolmates. It was a disaster he said! They had jelly and cake for dessert and
so did the living room’s carpet. On top of that he thought it would be a good
idea to have the kids do some art with paint rather than allowed them to get
stuck playing video games. You can imagine how that went! Luckily, Jack hired
these people to do wash the carpet and afterward it looked even better than
before. So, advise for you all? Let the
experts do the job.
