Uses My Husband Gives to Pressure Washing

First and foremost I should dispense with the definition of pressure washing, which is nothing more than the process of cleaning through a high pressure multi-purpose mechanical sprayer. My husband always told me how we should get one for our home but I just never got around it since I was clueless on what specifications I needed to have in mind for my sprayer. Last father’s day, I told him I had a surprise for him and took him to a wholesale store with a coupon I had gotten in the mail. I told him: ‘’honey, today we are getting your pressure washer’’. He was thrilled; I’ve never understood why men get so hyped up about things that I find so tedious and burdensome. Then again, they say they the same about us women on make up and shoes. I guess we can call it even.

What I did not know, was that my husband found a sense of relaxation in outdoor cleaning. Doing so is supposedly easier with a high pressure sprayer (who’d have thought huh?) thanks to my ''ingenuous purchase'', my husband kept our backyard very clean, he removed all the mold that had formed in the corners of our windows and door frames during the winter. He also washed our car regularly with enviable thoroughness.

My girlfriends always asked me how I had managed to convince my husband to keep our outdoors so clean, well, I always said to them it was him who had to convince me to buy the sprayer since I was under the impression that the regular pressure hose did just fine, but I have to credit him by saying he was right all along. We now have more time to spend with our kids and share more together. You should try it at home

Maintaining Your Employees’ Health

Are you a small or large business owner who runs a factory, workshop or garage? Is the health of your employees important to you? If the answer to these questions is yes, you should look into commercial pressure washing services to keep your place of business sanitary.

The fact is that all workspaces in which hard manual labor is done need to be cleaned. Factory machines emit smoke and chemical residue, while workshops produce sawdust and grime, and garages are stained with motor oil, gasoline and exhaust fumes. Certainly, you have a janitorial crew, but can daily sweeping and scrubbing remove all of the filth from the area? Not likely. You need a deep cleaning, and for that, you must hire a commercial pressure washing service. Arrange for a team of professionals to come in on a day when your employees have off. Using their high-tech equipment, they will blast your floors, walls and equipment with a high-pressure spray, which includes specially-made cleaning chemicals. After a few hours drying time, your workspace will be spotless.

A factory can’t run itself. Cars can’t diagnose and fix their own problems. Products don’t just appear out of thin air. The bottom line is that your business cannot function without your employees. If your workers are constantly taking sick days or coming to work sluggish and unfocused, your business will suffer. No one can stand breathing in dust and fumes all day without consequences. Keep your employees feeling great and productive by maintaining a hygienic work environment. In addition to encouraging the use of hand sanitizer and safety suits, and performing daily cleanings, make use of a commercial pressure washing service several times a year. Your staff will thank you for it. Remember: healthy employees could be the difference between a failing and a thriving business.

Moldy Brick Structure in Miami

I have a brick structure on the front porch of my house which is getting very moldy. I usually don’t play close attention to these things. When you have a big house and all the family members working full time, there is little chance you’ll notice when something needs some maintenance…until someone points it out to you! Yes, that happened to me. It was a little embarrassing. My nieces and nephews were playing outside and one of them sat on brick structure at the entrance of the house (see below picture). It was moldy, and my nephew Matthew got an allergic reaction immediately! I called to get acrylic sealing services right away!

I made an appointment for the next day so they could come and inspect the surface. It turns out that they needed to pressure wash the brick surface first to remove the mold and then let it dry before adding the acrylic sealant. I started wondering “Where else could there be mold around the house that I have not noticed yet?” The truth is this town has a very extreme and fluctuating weather. It may rain like crazy for a whole week and the following week could be very dry and in the upper 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Perfect living condition for mold to grow on!

I inspected the house, as that front brick structure wasn’t the only one in the house. And Lo and behold! There was mold in the back porch, in the garage and the tiles at our pool. I told that boy “Seal this whole place up!” He looked at me with a deadly serious face as if he had not understood my exaggerated demand; “Ma’am, do you know what you’re requesting of me?” I said “Honey, don’t take me too seriously, I just mean that I need the acrylic sealing in the areas that actually need it, like the front and back porch and the tiles around our pool to avoid any accidents.” He then gave me a nervous grin and said “Ok”. Ugh, these young kids, they’re scared of us old people, ha!
